The ney I purchased is finely crafted with excellent intonation and tone. The only issue is that I play left-handed, holding the flute with my right hand on top. Therefore, the placement of the thumb hole on the back of this ney is not well-suited for left-handed playing. It is likely positioned to accommodate right-handed players, with the left hand on top. Also, the neys I bought from other shops all came with protective cases. While yours is of even higher quality, why doesn’t it include a case for protection?

Good Turkish Ney

The sound is good. When I play closed neva (all holes were closed) and open neva (only the back hole was closed) I get similar sounds. It means the instrument was tuned properly.It smells good and don't forget to put it in oil weekly.The diameter of the reed could be bigger and the baspare is plastic which I don't like. It could be wooden for that prize.It designed for holding the upper part of the instrument with left hand.
